Wonderful Location

Our family of six (children aged 9, 7, 2x3) spent three wonderful weeks at Villers-sur-Mer in summer. One week we were accompanied by a second family of five. The house, the location and the small town of Villers are perfect for a family holiday. Charmingly decorated and with ample space for eleven, the house is situated at the top of a Norman valley with magnificent view and plenty of calm. The garden is huge and allows everyone to pursue their own activity without ever getting in the way of the others. The children loved the play area, the various sports available and the animals (donkey, ponies and goats). The town of Villers is a fifteen minute walk away, following an old shady path that leads through the gardens along the hillside. Villers has a very good small permanent market (7 days a week, at least in summer), a full weekly market twice a week and a small supermarket; all necessary groceries are accessible without having to use a car. The shallow beach (great for the kiddies) is just on the other side of town. The back country is beautiful and offers plenty of points of interest for every age. In summary, the house has it all and everyone in our family (each for a different reason) is looking forward to coming back soon.
